What You Should Know Before Subscribing

Are these papers designed for the NSW OC Test?
Yes. They are exam-style practice papers in Reading, Mathematical Reasoning and Thinking Skills, timed and done on screen, designed to reflect the style of the computer-based NSW Opportunity Class Placement Test.
Will Test Magic actually help my child improve?
Test Magic makes practice targeted. After each paper, your child sees their score, weaker topics and worked solutions, and you can track across papers whether their results are improving.
Will practice improve their chance of an OC offer?
Regular, targeted practice helps your child build accuracy, speed and their weaker skills, and each report shows an offer-band guide. A place depends on the official placement process and your child’s performance on the day, so no practice can guarantee an offer.
How will I know they’re improving?
Don’t rely on one score. Test Magic keeps every result, and the My Results page shows scores by subject, strengths, what to practise next and the offer-band guide across papers.
What does my child get from each practice paper?
Each paper can be sat as many times as your child likes, and comes with:

How many papers should they practise each week?
Two or three a week is a good start, for example one of each subject, with time between papers to review the report and the worked solutions. Your child can do more closer to test day.
Should my child just keep doing more papers to improve?
Not necessarily. Review each report, understand the mistakes, then use the next paper to apply what they learned.Test → Find gaps → Learn → Practise → Measure improvement
What is Magi Tutor?
Your child’s on-demand helper. After a paper, your child presses “Ask Magi” on the results page, and Magi explains any question step by step. Plans include 100 to 1,200 Magi Tutor credits, depending on the plan. 100 credits is about 60 question explanations.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel anytime, and you won’t be charged for the next payment period.
Is the payment secure?
Yes. Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
